Learning Tunisian

This is a picture of all the completed Kemback Cowls from The Galt house of Yarn’s most recent Learn Tunisian Crochet Class. Tunisian Crochet is a fantastic crochet technique.

WOW! Aren’t those Tunisian Cowls beautiful? I just finished teaching the Learn to Tunisian Crochet class at The Galt House of Yarn and I was so excited to take the group picture of everyone’s Kemback Cowl.

I am always amazed by the creativity that people bring to my patterns. They used different yarns, or even sparkly yarn or they used three colours instead of just two. It is just beautiful to see the uniqueness that each Maker brings to their project. It reinforces to me again and again that working together we make things better. Collaborating can take something that is good and make it great!

I just wanted to say thank you to each of the ladies in the class for coming, sharing and just for enjoying and laughing our way through being Makers of the Kemback Cowl.  It was such a joy for me.  I hope to see you in some more of the crochet classes I teach.
